Anyone can struggle to start a family. No matter what race, religion, sexuality or economic status you are, infertility doesn’t discriminate. The number of people affected is growing, and today, almost 1 in 6 couples face fertility issues.
Nubundle proudly supports National Infertility Awareness Week from April 21 to 27. This week unites millions of Americans who want to remove the stigmas and barriers that stand in the way of building families.
The theme this year is #InfertilityUncovered to raise awareness about the significant lack of access to family building options and emotional support for millions of men and women struggling to build a family. Let’s uncover the issues of access facing far too many members of our community - those without access to insurance coverage for infertility care or the economic means to pay out-of-pocket for treatments, third-party options or adoption.
Infertility coverage is rare, meaning we all know people who have gone through what are often heartbreaking experiences, whether they’ve chosen to share them or not.
There are many ways to be part of the #InfertilityUncovered movement. We’d like to highlight one of the ways Nubundle can play a role. The lack of access to insurance coverage and other financial support is an issue in the fertility industry. You might ask why employers don’t include this coverage? Many aren’t aware of this difficult and often not discussed problem, and those that are aware face a difficult choice, because historically the only existing solutions are prohibitively expensive.
That’s where Nubundle comes in - Nubundle provides access to family planning and fertility services, that companies can offer to their employees as a pass through benefit. Nubundle makes it affordable for small and medium sized businesses in particular, to offer high quality family planning and fertility services benefits. The benefits program is open to everyone, regardless of their insurance or marital status. If you’d like to learn more, please reach out here.
To bring awareness to National Infertility Awareness Week, Nubundle will be sharing articles daily to unpack some of the struggles while also highlighting the successes of this community.
